November traf der Super-Taifun Haiyan (Yolanda), der bis anhin weltweit st\u00e4rkste gemessene Wirbelsturm (Zyklon, Hurrikan), direkt auf die Insel Malapascua auf. Der Sturm hat Malapascua fast komplett zerst\u00f6rt. 95% der H\u00e4user sind stark besch\u00e4digt oder ganz zerst\u00f6rt.<\/p>\n<p>Wie durch ein Wunder hat unser gesamtes Team (Sea Explorers und Ocean Vida) und ihre Familien \u00fcberlebt. Niemand hat schwere Verletzungen erlitten und alle sind in Sicherheit. Jedoch haben fast alle ihr ganzes Hab und Gut verloren, inklusive ihrer H\u00e4user.<\/p>\n<p>Das Restaurant von Ocean Vida wie auch das Dach von den Meersichtzimmern, wurde vom Wind wortw\u00f6rtlich weggefegt. Somit sind die Zimmer im oberen Geschoss alle schwer besch\u00e4digt oder komplett zerst\u00f6rt. Das Tauchzenter welches im unteren Geschoss des Restaurants liegt ist kaum besch\u00e4digt und fast alles wurde gerettet, ausser die Banka Talisin, welche dem Sturm erlag.<\/p>\n<p>Trotz all der Zerst\u00f6rung braucht es mehr als einen Supertaifun, um den Lebensmut der Filipinos zu nehmen. Gleich am Tag nach dem Taifun waren die Leute schon wieder bei guter Laune und gl\u00fccklich am Leben zu sein und haben gleich mit den Aufr\u00e4umarbeiten begonnen. Sie unternehmen alles, um das Resort und Tauchzenter so schnell wie m\u00f6glich wieder operationsf\u00e4hig zu machen.<\/p>\n<p>Zur Zeit gibt es keinen Strom auf der Insel wie auch keine, Natelempfang. Aus den oben genannten Gr\u00fcnden bleiben Ocean Vida Resort und Sea Explorers Malapascua geschlossen.<\/p>\n<p>Wir wissen, dass viele von Euch den Leuten und Freunden auf der Insel helfen wollen und wir sowie alle unsere Mitarbeiter sch\u00e4tzen dies sehr und sind sehr dankbar. Sea Explorers und Ocean Vida Resort haben ein Spendenkonto er\u00f6ffnet. Das Geld wird den Mitarbeitern zur direkten Hilfe f\u00fcr den Wiederaufbau Ihrer H\u00e4user zur Verf\u00fcgung gestellt in form von Baumaterial wie auch Lebensmittel und Wasser.<\/p>\n<p>Wir werden Euch konstant \u00fcber die Lage vor Ort informieren.<\/p>\n<p>Bitte habt Verst\u00e4ndnis wenn dies durch die fehlenden Kommunikationsm\u00f6glichkeiten etwas Zeit beansprucht. Die Sicherheit und Gesundheit sowie die Sicherstellung von gen\u00fcgend Wasser und Nahrung f\u00fcr die Angestellten und ihre Familien hat erste Priorit\u00e4t.<\/p>\n<p>Wir haben sehr viele Email erhalten und geben unser Bestes, diese so schnell wie m\u00f6glich zu beantworten.
